We presented the initial logo routes to the client to show a variation of thought-provoking ideas which focus on different themes and key words from the brief and our brand proposition.
The colours represent sea-like and ocean-themed colors. We wanted to create something which involved colours that communicate a fun, distinctive, and exciting brand. The colours targeted a small demographic of schools, employees, families, and tourists.
The logo and name were altered after client review and feedback from varies pitch presentations. The aim was to create a better logo which was more exciting for the centre and was unique and differentiates from other museums and centres. The name celebrates the geological and scientific history of the Christchurch tides.

Final story
We created merchandise and mock-ups which depict the exploration of the oceans and seas of Christchurch using the wave as the featured pattern on all assets. This can be worn by workers and brought by families and tourists. Our main aim was to inspire and excite a new generation of engineers and scientists to help fight climate change in Christchurch and nearby areas.
